A little introduction...
I have loved and appreciated pottery for as long as I can remember. In high school I took a ceramics course but it wasn’t until I had a try at wheel thrown pottery in 2011 that I really fell in love with the process and craft of working with stoneware clay.
I am a wife and mom of three and life is really busy these days. Having a home studio lets me have the best of both worlds and creating everyday adds so much joy to my life.
I love pottery that is both beautiful and functional and enhances the everyday experiences of cooking, eating and home life. My aesthetic tends to be simple and perhaps slightly slanted towards the modern farmhouse style I love so much. We live just outside of Sarnia, Ontario on a farm where endless fields, simple living and an appreciation for nature inspires my work.
Leaving you with a few quotes that have lit my path.
"Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive."
~Howard Thurman
"You only have to let the soft animal of your body love what it loves"
~Mary Oliver
"Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life."
~Mary Oliver
